Jon took over the role of Pastor in 2021 after the passing of longtime Senior Minister Andy Baker, and has been on staff with the church since 2016. Jon also works with the youth and within the worship ministry department. He is an alumnus of Lincoln Christian University, with degrees in both Worship and Preaching Ministry. He is supported by his wife of thirteen years, Jordan, and their beautiful daughter, Joanna.

The church is greatly aided by the help of our secretary, Bethany Harrison. Bethany handles all things office-related: scheduling events, putting together and printing bulletins, afternoon phone calls, sending out prayer lists and updates - you name it. She is a Fisher native and was raised at RVCC, and has a passion and love for children.

Lisa Shepherd serves as the Director of River Valley's After School Program that began in August of 2024. She is married to her husband Luke, and together they have two children, Lucy and Levi. For more information on the After School Program, click here.

Luke Shepherd took over for custodians Phillip and Tricia Schwing in mid 2025. He is responsible for overseeing the church facilities. Luke and his family have been longtime attenders of RVCC and contribute to many roles in the life of the church.

RVCC is also led and directed by a great group of Elders, Deacons, and Trustees.
